California Instruments 2253ix AC Source Details
California Instruments 2253ix AC Source
The 2253ix AC Source from California Instruments represents a new generation AC Source and DC Power Supply that addresses increasing demands on test equipment to perform additional functions at a lower cost.
By combining a flexible AC Source DC Power Supply with a high performance Power Analyser the Compact ix Series is capable of handling complex applications that have traditionally required multiple systems.
The latest addition to the Compact ix model range the 2253ix provides 3 phase AC output power at 750VA per phase. This compliments the existing single phase AC Source range including the 751ix AC delivering 750VA and the 1501ix delivering 1500VA.

Integration
The sleek integrated approach of the California Instruments Compact iX Series AC Source avoids cable clutter that is commonly found in test systems. All connections are made internally and the need for digital multimeters power harmonics analysers and current shunts or clamps is eliminated.
Since many components in the Compact ix Series are shared between the AC Source DC Power Supply and the Power Analyser the total cost of the integrated system is less than the typical cost of a multiple unit system.
