Single-port 100/1000 Mbps Ethernet GMII/MII SmartCard

The SmartBits GX1421A is a single-port, 100/1000 Mbps Ethernet, GMII/MII SmartCard that tests the capabilities of on-board PHY chips that interface to either GMII- or MII-based DUTs. The on-board chips handle all IEEE 802.3ab standard requirements for Gigabit Ethernet circuit board designs. The GX-1421A is based upon and is functionally compatible with the GX-1420B SmartCard. It is designed to operate in either the SMB-200 or SMB-2000 chassis. The GX-1421A offers full duplex gigabit and 100 Mbps Ethernet testing capabilities. The GX-1421A also supports IP checksum generation and analysis, ARPing, PINGing, and VLAN tagging.
