The Model 708 is designed as a programmable switch for connecting signal paths in a matrix topology. It is for applications requiring a small-scale matrix(up to 96 crosspoints per mainframe and 480 crosspoints per master/slave configuration). Plug-in cards are available for general and special purpose switching applications.
