The P67xx Series probes provide validation engineers with two mid-bus probing options and one solder-down option. The P67xx mid-bus probes are the best choice for minimal system impact. The P67xx use a new “connectorless” retention mechanism that is designed to maximize mechanical reliability. Conserving circuit board space is critical, the P6708 eight channel halfwidth probe is an ideal choice for designs that use x1 and x4 links. The P6716 16 channel full-width probe is also available. The P6701SD enables customers to validate their PCI Express designs on platforms where no midbus or slot connector exists.
