OC-3/STM-1 Module (1310 nm)

The MU120119A and MU120120A each have two ports. Each
MU120119A port can support either OC-3c/STM-1c POS
(Packet over SONET) or OC-12c/STM-4c POS.
The MU120120A is a lower-cost module and is limited to
OC-3/STM-1 POS.
Optical Power Meter (Option 01)
The MU120119A and MU120120A each support an optical
power meter option. When a network error occurs such as
during POS installation, this option facilitates troubleshooting by
measuring the optical power at the interface.
Full SONET/SDH Functions
Error/Alarm Analysis Functions
In general, POS (Packet Over SONET/SDH) requires
concatenation mapping. The MD1230A provides error/alarm
measurement and tests the signals required for concatenation.
