Although the current mainstream of 10GbE installations is the physical layer or LAN-PHY of Access networks, router and switch vendors are also positively adopting 10GbE for WAN-PHY of existing Core and Metro SDH/SONET networks to assure high-reliability and QoS.The MD1230B Data Quality Analyzer is designed as an all-in-one unit supporting DUT performance tests for both 10GbE LAN-PHY and WAN-PHY. It is also ideal for verifying Link Aggregration Grouping (LAG) of dark fiber, existing SDH/SONET networks and DWDM as backup links at network faults.
