Tektronix CG5001-01 Details
Tektronix CG5001-01
The CG5001 Programmable Calibration Generator features a wide range of functions, all programmable by controller via the GPIB. A "Learn" mode allows any manually set function or range to be acquired by a controller. Subsequent use of the resulting program requires a minimum of operator skill and makes data logging an automatic operation. The unit requires either a TM 5003 or TM 5006 (sold separately).
The Tektronix CG 5001 programmable oscilloscope calibration generator is the computerized solution to large-scale scope calibration needs. The CG 5001 can be used as part of a computer-based system to calibrate and verify all major oscilloscope parameters, and is specifically designed for use where many oscilloscopes are maintained. Its programmability, combined with state-of-the-art performance, helps to minimize calibration lab labor while maximizing accuracy of verfication checks. The CG 5001 can verify the major oscilloscope parameters, such as vertical gain, horizontal timing and gain, vertical bandwith and pulse response characteristics, probe accuracy and compensation, current probe accuracy, and calibrator output accuracy.
The front panel of the CG 5001 features a wide range of functions, which are all programmable via the GPIB. A "Learn" mode allows any manually set function or range to be acquired by a controller. Subsequent use of the resulting program requires a minimum of operator skill and makes data logging automatic. The CG 5001 is designed to reduce maintenance costs. Built-in self-test routines and hardware check the operation of all major circuits each time the power is turned on.
