The Fluke 1720A is a microcomputer used to control other instruments and test equipment. The 1722A can be controlled by either a Touch-Sensitive Overlay or a removable keyboard that connects at the front panel with a DIN plug.

The 1722A operates on 230V ac or 115V ac, either 50 Hz or 60 Hz depending on customer specification. However, internal adjustments must be made to change the line voltage requirement.
