Keysight-Agilent 1715A
The 1715A 200MHz Oscilloscope is a wide-band oscilloscope serves you on the bench in uses such as testing, repairing and calibrating. It also works great as a portable, field-service tool. It provides accurate measurements of high-frequency signals and fast rise-times. In that way it serves you as an outstanding standard. It's a dual-trace unit with a DC to 200MHz bandwidth, so it's an excellent analyzer as well. Its amplitude sensitivity is 10 mV to 5 V/div over its entire bandwidth (5 mV/div to 150 MHz). So, it's a super multimeter. The main timebase ranges are from 10 nS to 0.5 S/div and are continuously variable between ranges. The delayed time base ranges are 10 nS to 20 mS/div. The delta-time mode provides improved time-interval measurements. That also makes it a counter/analyzer with which you can see the intricate shape of your signal while digitally measuring its frequency, period, whatever. The 1715A has a selectable input impedance of 50 ohms or 1 Mohm, whichever best meets your measurement applications. 50 ohms is best with a calibrated input and 1 Mohms won't draw current out of the circuitry that you're testing. Its low shunt capacitance of less than 11 pF reduces phase shift and signal loss in pulse or CW measurements. The signal shape that you see on the screen is the same shape of the signal that you're checking. It triggers internally (DC to 200 MHz) on a signal as small as 1 division of vertical deflection. That's very useful when you only have a small signal that you need to see in the first place.
