Consider a Used Calibrator for Your Metrology Needs

Do you own test equipment that requires periodic adjustments that must meet certain accuracy specifications? Searching for an calibration instrument or device that allows you to make those necessary adjustments? Test Equipment Connection carries a variety of Calibrators that serve a wide range of different testing purposes.

Calibrators come in many different forms and serve many different purposes. They are commonly used to calibrate Temperature sensitive equipment, Electrical Equipment, RF Equipment, Pressure Sensitive Equipment and Gas Flow Measuring Equipment.

Electrical Calibrators are basically used for calibrating critical voltage protection measuring devices such as clamp on Amp meters, Oscilloscopes, Megohm meters, Digital Multimeters, and digital and analog Panel Meters. Electrical Calibrators must be very precise and of high standard, as well as currently compliant, and usually have built in protection circuitry devices to protect against damaging voltages.

Wide Variety of Test and Calibration Solutions

RF Calibrators are used for calibrating frequency sensitive equipment such as Spectrum Analyzers, Modulation Meters and RF Power Sensors. Normally, general purpose signal generators are used to calibrate Spectrum Analyzers and RF Power sensors. RF calibrators generate high signal purity, precise signal level and low distortion modulation which makes the RF calibrator the preferred source rather than general purpose signal generator.

Temperature and Pressure Calibrators are used for instrument calibration measuring Temperature Equipment; RTD’s, Thermocouples, Thermistors and measuring common pressure ranges from 1 inch (6900 Pa) of water up to 10,000 Psi (69 Mpa).

Whether you are in the Communications, Aerospace, Science, Medical, Industrial or Engineering field, Calibration instruments play a very important role in keeping your systems performing satisfactorily. Calibration instruments play a vital role by ensuring that the equipment that is periodically calibrated is performing to a high standard and is in compliance with safety and occupational guidelines. The calibrator must be very precise, since the instrument that you will be calibrating, the output, and display will be adjusted to the exact value of the Input signal that is being produced

Calibrators are for Safety, Performance and Audit Purposes

Temperature sensors are calibrated in a similar fashion. A certain signal is produced, which is referred to as a simulator, and can accurately produce a sensor output.

If there is a tool or a piece of equipment that measures pressure, liquid, torque and electricity, we have a calibrator that has been manufactured for that particular piece of equipment. To maintain your equipment in the laboratory or assembly line, calibration is very important, not only for safety but for operational need of your equipment and quality and audit purposes.

Test Equipment Connection carries a wide variety of Calibrators. Our inventory includes New, Refurbished, Demo and Overstock calibration equipment. Contact us for more information..
