The Wandel & Goltermann 3060/02 Advanced Network Tester is an ANT-20 SE (Speed Evolution) SONET version in a portable system This unit is a generator and analyzer for electrical STS-1 and STS-3 signals allowing simulations and evaluation in the TOH and POH and one selected STS-1 tributary. The tester is generateor and analyzer for bit error rate tests (BERT) at 6 Mbit/s with unframed , 1.5 and 45 Mbit/s with framed and unframed test patterns. The digital ouputs interfaces to Bellcore GR-253, TR-TSY-000499, and ANSI T1.102 with a 75 Ohm coaxial output and a 100 ohm balanced ouput with a Bantam jack. Has three additional slots to provide evne more functions than the ANT-20. The combination of multipex/demultiplex functions and jitter generation and analysis up to STM-16/OC-48 in one portable instrument.
