CDMA Network Emulator This single instrument system packs all the testing power of a simulated real-world CDMA network environment into the ease, control and efficiency of a desktop application. Spirent's AirAccess SR3452rf solution was designed to create a complete, cost-effective solution for testing today's constant stream of value-added services which take advantage of CDMA2000's high-speed packet data capabilities. To insure end-user satisfaction, testing requirements for these applications continue to expand in scope and importance. AirAccess SR3452rf, which consists of the SR3452 CDMA Network Emulator with a built-in RF converter module, is the ideal tool to speed new CDMA wireless applications through development, verification and deployment. "This expands our AirAccess product line to fill a real need in the CDMA development space," said Rob VanBrunt, director of product marketing at Spirent Communications. "The SR3452 has been specifically designed to help engineers speed the deployment of new CDMA data applications such as BREW downloads and advanced content delivery via WAP. The compact, cost-effective package makes it a must have for every developer's work station." AirAccess SR3452rf addresses software developers' test requirements that are often ignored by competitive test solutions. For example, most one-box radio test sets provide little in the way of comprehensive configuration. These testers are targeted at manufacturing and provide only a subset of functionality to allow a quick "go-no go" decision. In contrast, Spirent's SR3452rf provides a platform for thorough qualification by adding control of network parameters and other options for detailed performance analysis. At the same time, AirAccess avoids the end-user complexities associated with script-driven conformance test systems by using a built-in, configurable CDMA state machine that implements intricate base station behavior. |
