The IPN is a high speed, instrumentgrade digital receiver, providing measurements of pilots at all system PN offsets. Because the unit is capable of scanning multiple RF carriers simultaneously, it is ideal for multi-carrier testing. By using the unit in conjunction with a commercial handset, the user may display and log measurements which are dependent upon network parameters (taken using the handset) along with measurements which are independent of network parameters (taken using the IPN).
