DESCRIPTION The 102C Signal Generator provides an optimum balance of design features and performance characteristics. Frequency Range: 0.45MHz to 520MHz 6 digit LED display Resolution: 100Hz at all frequencies OPTIONS Option 01 = Modulation and RF output connectors on rear panel Option 02 = Special modulation oscillator frequencies may be specified, such as those used for the marker beacons. A maximum of 9 separate frequencies is available Option 03 = Detected AM output allows phase shift in the AM channel (which is minimal) to be monitored at all times Option 04 = Fused RF output to protect generator fron serious damage when external power applied to RF output connector exceeds 0.8 watt (10 spare elements). Option 05 = High impedance AM input allows connection of both old and new VOR/ILS modulation generators. (High impedance FM input also available as Option 06) Option 06 = High impedance FM input, 10 kohms Option 07 = High impedance AM and FM input, 10 kohms Option 08 = External clock input; 1 v p-p into 5 kohms Option 09 = External RF input allows switching to an external RF source such as a synthesizer to substitute for the main VFO band (band 3). This can be useful for fast VHF channel switching in production tests. All functions of the generator are operative except FM. Option 10 = Band 3, 65 to 136MHz allows VHF connumications channels to be set without band change and also covers the marker beacon frequency of 75MHz. Glide slope frequencies of 329 to 335MHz are covered on band 5. |
