Vector Network Analyzer R&S ZVL13
The ZVL is a compact, powerful, and future-proof network analyzer, and is therefore ideal for use in development, production, and service. It is the only instrument to combine the functions of a network analyzer, spectrum analyzer, and power meter in a single box, and will thus tremendously increase your work efficiency. The ZVL is ideal for lab applications where the measurement tasks vary frequently; it can be used to measure S-parameters as well as the output spectrum, ACP, and TOI without having to reconnect the device under test (DUT). With the ZVL, production lines can now be run even more flexible, as the switchover from network analyzer to spectrum analyzer can easily be effected via remote control. Moreover, an NRP power sensor, which can be directly connected to the ZVL, ensures precise power measurements. R&SZVL13: The ZVL13 is ideally suited for: Small Design Laboratories Typically use spectrum analyzers with a tracking generator and a SWR bridge to make scalar measurements due to cost. It leaves a lot of measurements and analysis to engineers interpretation. With the optional spectrum analysis function, the new R&S ZVL13 offers a powerful and inexpensive Vector Network Analyser Solution. Mobile and Wireless Communications In cellular and wireless communications, spurious emissions are specified up to 12.75 GHz, stop band attenuation of filters has to be specified up to this frequency. The dynamic range of >100 dB and the frequency range of 13.6 GHz is a perfect fit for manually tuning of diplex filters for base stations. Satellite Communication The Ku band, ranging from 12 GHz to 18 GHz is used for satellite communications (DVB-S via Astra or fixed service satellite). Primarily in North America, Europe, Africa and Australia, highest uplink frequency used is 14.0 GHz to 14.5 GHz. The new R&S ZVL13 supports overrange up to 15 GHz. Installation and Service Small form factor, low weight and battery operation make ZVL just the right instrument for field-installation and on-site service needs. Calibration of Test Equipment for EMC Measurements The start low frequency of 9 kHz is ideally suited for commercial EMC standards. In this application, the ZVL13 can be used to calibrate cables, antennas or coupling networks for conducted measurements. Additionally, design and production of amplifiers for mobile applications requires network and spectrum analysis. These dual major functions are served well with the ZVL13 Applications Design Labs & Manufacture of RF filters, couplers, relays, amplifiers, cables and antennas.
